It's time to get tough on so-called 'every day crime'

We're told by government in London that crime isn't on the up. The reality is much different for communities across the West Midlands. Because we know that a lot of crime – especially gang and drug-related offences - goes unreported. This so-called 'everyday crime' causes untold misery.

The Tories in London cut funding for police in the West Midlands five times more than for leafy Tory shires like Surrey. We say no more.

Let's tackle gangs and drugs on our streets with £1m fund to deter young people from getting mixed up in crime.

We say it's time to get tough on so called 'everyday crime'. Agree? Sign here if you support my pledge to defend police numbers in the West Midlands.
