Siôn launches manifesto for women with Jess Phillips MP

0

It’s time to stand up for women in the West Midlands.

This Tory government doesn't care about women. Instead of implementing policies that allow women to realise their potential, the Tory London government has orchestrated an assault on the lives and livelihoods of West Midlands women. 85% of Tory cuts have been at the expense of women, with loss of public sector jobs, cuts to social care, housing, tax credits, early years education and childcare, and the literally fatal closure of Women's refuges and rape crisis centres.

More than ever, the West Midlands needs to stand up against the Tory London Government and provide women and girls with the support they need to live safe, healthy and fulfilled lives.

I’ll develop a plan to do just that.
